As a member of Walmart’s International Mobile team, I supported and delivered new features across multiple Walmart mobile applications, including Walmart Canada, Walmart Chile, Walmart Mexico, Sam’s Club Mexico, and Bodega Aurrera.
I initially joined the International Membership squad, where I worked on improving and modernizing membership-related flows: Led the removal of a deprecated Walmart Delivery Pass module used in Mexico and Canada, reducing technical complexity and improving maintainability. Contributed to the LTO (Limited Time Offer) project for Mexico and Canada, building a flexible flow that allowed Product teams to activate different membership promotions dynamically. This initiative resulted in over a 40% increase in membership sales driven by promotional flexibility.
Later, I transitioned to the International Item Page squad, contributing to several customer-facing initiatives: Implemented Buy Now, Pay Later for Walmart Mexico, enabling credit-based purchases through integrations with Cashi and Aplazo. Collaborated on the integration of True Fit (external service) in Canada, allowing customers to calculate their ideal clothing size directly from the product page. Developed the Comparison Chart feature for MX and CA, helping users make better purchase decisions by comparing similar products
In addition to feature development, I regularly: Handle Jira tickets related to bugs, analytics issues, and production support. Refactor and update components with technical debt, improving code quality and long-term stability.
